Fall semester starting.

I am in my 5th year of Psychology and I start my fall semester on 1st of October. These are my classes:

Psychology and group dinamics
Behaviour modification
Psychological advice techniques
Practicum (that's what we call out intern time or practise semester, I don't know where I'm going, but it's similar to working part time)

And because I am specialized in Social psychology, I'm taking these extra classes:

Enviormental psychology
Sport Psychology

Finally, in my last, other than going on with the Practicum (it's on the whole year), I will have:

Humanist psychology techniques
Intervention and psychological treatment techniques
Group intervention strategies

And for my specialization:

Free time (if I can say it like that, lol) psychology

I may take criminology too, depending on the time of the classes.

Grace, this might not be encouraging...but honestly, that is a LOT of classes. When I was going to school and NOT working, without kids, I couldn't handle more than 5. I honestly wouldn't take on more than that if you are not feeling motivated. If you really put your mind to it I'm sure you could do it, but you need to pull some strength from somewhere for this.
Except for this year and third year, I always took 6 classes per semester at least, lol. And this year I even have the practice semester, lol. I think if you work hard, you can do it.

good lord, I didnt realize how many SMART people are on this site.

My semester doest start until oct 20. I cant wait. Luckily my semesters only last 6 weeks or so. But I am only gonna take 2 classes because I know I cant juggle more than that. (not with working a full time job and being a full time mom)

Gracie you can do it. Just put your mind to it. :)

i started monday, i'm taking

chemistry
thermodynamics
statics & strengths of materials
calc iii (again)
and i'm doing theatre club

kicked ass and took names in my english class. considering an activist program called engineering w/out borders, where i would go to some undeveloped country and build houses for them.

i'm also independently studying micro-sociology and sexual dynamics, which basically involves me flirting with pretty girls at empty tables. ;)

After reading this thread, I am happier than ever to be out of college. I have a degree that took 6 years (that is how long the program was), and I am so glad it's over.

just to clarify... I already have my B.A in Psychology.. I am returning to school now for my Master's in Education and to be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.. lots of big words basically, but this time I at least chose to go to college and know what I'm doing while I'm there... so if I sound excited to go to school, its cuz I kinda am :)

:) doesn't psychology rock? In Spain you can't make a BA in psychology though, you have to make the two master years or you won't get a degree.
