Ok so fall semester is starting and I am having a really hard time getting motivated.

This summer has been busy with three kids, Summer I semester, some bumps in the road in my relationship, some deaths of friends/family, other friends struggling with cancer and some financial issues closing in on us due to both of us going to college full time. I just find myself feeling really mentally/emotionally tired. It has me a bit concerned.

Any words of encouragement are welcome. :D

So is anyone else getting ready for fall semester? If so, what are you taking and when do you start?

I start on the 20th and I am taking:
Human anatomy & physiology
Health care ethics
Healthful living (sports/nutrition)
Powerpoint
A lab for biology
Healthcare workplace

I tried to take some easy classes since I am taking so many of them. I'm concerned about the work load however. I have a lot of other responsibilities besides just school.

I think I may be letting myself get worried prematurely. I don't know. :eek :)

You do have a lot going on... but maybe your worrying about it too soon.
Keep your chin up though, everything will fall into place. Or you can just go back to that PM you sent me a few days ago and do what you told me to do! :)

Go get all Pimped out! Buy some new clothes, make-up, accessories. Look like a Bad Ass walking around campus.

ROFL!!! Silious that just isn't my style hun. Very funny post though. ;)

Have you decided what you are going to do? Are you going to Europe or are you going to school? What's up with you?

Grace, this might not be encouraging...but honestly, that is a LOT of classes. When I was going to school and NOT working, without kids, I couldn't handle more than 5. I honestly wouldn't take on more than that if you are not feeling motivated. If you really put your mind to it I'm sure you could do it, but you need to pull some strength from somewhere for this.

Well, now that someone else has said it, I can agree! :lol
That really is alot of classes and work too, those labs can consume your life in regards to time. Ms. Bounds, if you have carried a load that heavy in the past then you know what you're in for, but if not, ya might want to back off at least one class. Hell, you're makin' me exhausted by just thinkin' about it. :lol

i have 3 classes this coming semesters, and 2 are online... i dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing yet...
i only took the online classes because i can do the work at midnight if need be, with my schedule- that is the best solution for now...

these are all classes i tested out of during my undergrad, now that im trying to go to grad school, they want me to have the knowledge... blehhhhhh- they just want my money!

then hopefully *crossing fingers* i can begin grad school in january

I will be girl, I will be. ;) :)

Yeah, I'm use to taking on this large of a school load. ;) Maybe it is because I know how much work it is that I was not feeling motivated. Also I am a stickler about my 4.0 grade point average, so that is added pressure I put on myself as well.

I find online to be more difficult because you have to basically 'teach yourself', but it does really help out when it comes to scheduling problems. I'm sure you will do great Jersey. Let me know how it goes for you.

Once I get going I seem to be fine. It is the 'getting started' that I tend to drag my feet on. Now that I've started the first lesson in two of my classes I'm feeling better and ready to go. Thank goodness. Sometimes it is just getting over that 'hump' that is the real pain in the butt.

Whatever you think that I think about you is not true. I don't judge people, I just hate religion. Good luck with what you decide to do and I really mean that!:)

What I think is totally derived by your own words contained in your own posts where you directed your insults at me and not at religion Peter. Had you been insulting religion and not me I would not have thought anything as it is your right/opinion/prerogative etc. to hate religion.

I did however get your pm and of course I accept your apology. And I appreciate your kind wishes for my success in school. I'm studying nuclear medicine btw.

Somewhere between Dec 3rd and Dec 10th, so we are darn close to Christmas too. It is a crazy time of year, but we try extra hard to not get caught up in the materialistic madness. The traffic sucks that time of year no matter what you do though.
