Except they don't have any "freedom" to assault anyone, so what you just said is nonsense.

Hmmm... I've got a great response to this, but I don't want to fight on such a great thread.

Great job Allie. Wish I could rep ya more often. I just love your postings to death sometimes!! :D

I wonder what would have happened if they'd gotten to the last two sentences and then accidently spilled the bottle of ink all over it.

I'd be pissed if I had to rewrite that over again. lol

Back then handwriting and spelling were major subjects in schooling... today kids go to school with laptops in some places. As long as you can spell 'cat' you pass the second grade.

Hey now, spelling is taught in schools. I've failed spelling test (or test where spelling counts) all the way through college. I hated giving spelling test to students in my practicums.

Happy Independance Day, the day we got rid of you mad, crazy and stupid gun toteing yanks. Now your poodle Blair has finally stopped being Prime Minister, hopefully we can stop being embarressed by our Prime Minister kissing your arse! (but probably not!) Anyway, enjoy tucking in to your turkey, we know overeating and getting fat is what you Americans enjoy most, who need to be fit when you can just shoot someone without expending the energy of kicking the shit out of them. I would be worried but I can probably run faster than you lard arses! Hahahaha!

*Just using the famouse British satire her, love you all really!*

GOD BLESS AMERICA!:usa:

haha we normally don't eat turkey on the 4th. Today is a day for BBQ'ing. Burgers, dogs, chips, dip, baked beans.

I'm making myself hungry again.

Why? Its pretty important.

Define important. I know out of personal experience that I could "learn" the words for the test (after hours a day studying them), do somewhat decent on the test, and then couldn't remember what the words words, let only how they were spelled. Give me a vocabulary test and I could ace it (and tell you everything about the word except spelling) because it has context to me. Not to mention far less anxiety to me. The vocab test were far more practical (and important) to me. We discussed this a lot in my education classes.

Getting back on topic, I hope everyone's 4th has been better than it has been here. It's been raining off and on all day.

I think its important to know how to use your language, and its ALWAYS beneficial to have a wide vocabulary.

I changed my avatar a few days ago preparing for this day. I love my home. I love my state. I love my country. I love my fellow Americans. It is such a beautifully diverse country. It is not perfect, but neither am I, so I fit in quite nicely and am ever so thankful for how very blessed I am.

When you serve as a missionary in 3rd world countries and you come back home, it just about makes you want to kiss the American soil as you step off the plane. Our poor here in America are rich compared to other countries. May we all realize how much we have to be thankful for no matter what we think we are lacking or can't live without. What we call lacking others see as abundance, and indeed it is.

So I say God Bless America and thank you.

I'm proud to be an American.

Happy 4th of July my fellow Americans.
