Fall Season what do you love about it ?

So do you like the fall season and if so why ?

Is there something in Fall you love best ? I know my kids love Halloween but I guess some of you may like Thanksgiving as families get together or you get to do Black Friday Shopping in the US..

In Canada we have our Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October so Oct 8th this year.

Perhaps it's something as simple as the trees changing colors.. What about it makes you feel great ?

tempeture change!!!!!! like this morning its 64 F outside and feels amazing! also i am a super big fan of the holidays! for me this time of year starts revolving around family even more. football, hot chocolate for the girls, coffee for me , what little leaf color change we have here, and baking!

I love that it is when it finally starts to cool off here in Arizona. I love the excitement that my son shows about Halloween.

I love the changing colors of the leaves on trees/plants.... and when they eventually fall to the ground and the sounds made when walking on them.
I love the cooler brisk days.
I love the sight of flocks of birds as they ready to fly south for the winter.
I love the warmth of the first fire in the woodburner and watching the hungry flames dance and consume the wood therein.
I love the shorter days when forced to be inside with family/friends.
I love the smells of hot chocolate.
I love hot meals once again baked in the oven that warm the kitchen.
I love cider mills for their delicious aromas of apples and cinnamon donuts.
I love pumpkins and gourds and cornstalks.
I love that those 100 degree days are now behind me!

I read somewhere that we celebrate Bonfire night here as well, but I have never see a place advertise or do this yet.. Perhaps one of the provinces in the East ( Maritimes ) ..
