Yup! That would be it! Build a big bonfire, let a shit load of fireworks off and invite the neighbours round! :thumbup

When I grew up we had what we called Devil's Night or Hell Night. It's the day before Halloween and was quite tame back then and nothing like it became later on in Detroit.. The usual firecrackers and some light fireworks would get set off but nothing major..

Ah, Mischief night. Not really done round here but more of a northern thing. From what I understand from my Yorkshire friends, the kids nick everyones front gates and stick them in a big pile at the end of the road.

The cooler weather, pumpkin spice lattes, all things pumpkin (I'm pumpkin obsessed, LOL), and college football.

The leaves here don't change color until very very late in the Fall and they don't leave the trees until Winter...even then, we have more pine trees than anything around here and that's not pretty, LOL

I love my sweaters and boots too. Time for soups and other comfort foods...lighting candles all over the house...pulling out my winter quilts, throws, and warm area rugs. Time to set up my sewing area.

Here in southern Maine, the leaves are changing color earlier than normal. Usually, the autumn leaves are at it's peak around October 15. However, it's not even October and the leaves are looking beautiful! At this rate, they'll peak within another week or so.

I'll try to enjoy this fall season as best I can before the weather takes a snowy turn for the worse.
