Seizing Life ♥
I was encouraged by some of those who knew about my hikes to post some pics here- so here goes
I am aiming to climb Mt Whitney: 14,000 ft elevation, 22 miles, 14-16 hours hike. (hopefully this year) Here's the top of Mt Whitney

I've started my training and so far here's some pics of the hikes, I've accomplished.
1. Ladder Canyon and Sheep's Hole Oasis: 2500 ft elevation (13 miles, 8 hours. crawled through 3 caves)
( some are from my hiking group's pics)
one of the cave's entrance where we had to climb and enter through one of the sheep's hole to go through the other side of the trail

through the ladder canyon (am the one on top- playing with my camera)

a hiking mate crawling out of one of the caves

2. through Sta Rosa Ecological Reserve- 1196 elevation 10 miles hike (4 hours) me on that black outfit with cap on

my hiking addicts group- i'm in the red sweatshirt (near center)

3. Mt Baldy: 10,000 ft elevation (accomplished- 9.45 miles out of 10.2 miles, 7 hours)
That's me with cap on climbing while my son waits

a view from 4 miles up on Mt Baldy

2 miles away from the peak

Me about 1.5 miles from summit

1 mile away from summit

my son

The type of terrain we had to climb

1 mile away from peak and snow is getting thicker

1/4 mile away...from peak( Unfortunately, we had to climb down without reaching the peak as weather changed abruptly- thick fog, gusty winds, snow on the tracks was 3 ft high. Too dangerous to continue. Will be back again when weather is a lot friendlier
