What's next your bank account? Social security number?
oh i know it is just cheaper
to run a Top Secret check on someone in the Canadian Fed govt costs $ 1000s, because of the time and resources required to conduct those interviews, imagine the benefits to an employer who might spend an hour browsing FB to decide if they even proceed with such a process, so teh FB access is simply a tool to help in maanagement decison making
none of the above is but, if you often post pictures of yourself drinking, if you regularly switch partners, if you make political statements publically, some employers will think twich before hgiring you into a position that requires high level security clearances, anyone who has served in the military will know what i refer to
There's a line. I think this crosses it just a bit.
This. When I was on active duty I had a TS / SCI and they interviewed my kindergarten teacher.
We had some scary looking men in black show up at our house a few years ago asking questions about our next door neighbor. I don't think "ummm, he has a lot of children and I think he's Mormon" helped their quest much.
ok bad example...All employers ask for your SSN, dude.![]()
to be fair I was referring to the number given to you to access your bank account. The 5 digit number you give the teller to withdraw money.
Are you talking about a PIN??? I don't have to give my PIN to a teller EVER. :dunno
The teller's don't need your PIN because they're already logged into your account by inputting the other stuff.
Which is also why you don't give your PIN to anyone, not even someone purporting to be from your bank.

An employer should be allowed to ask for just about anything. Nobody has to comply. Unfortunately, we've created such a society of compliant sheep that most people equate a request with force, and think they are being forced to obey.
what is all this "one" stuffIf one busts a perspective employer's nose.......I don't think one will make the best qualified list.............![]()
