Flu Shot

My whole house has gotten the flu shot. I actually got sick after mine (NOT the flu) But I was dragging and tired and nauseous.. just didnt feel good at all (even had a fever). Zach had the same thing happen after his (could of been a bug not related to shot.. unk). And my arm hurt for 3 days!!

However .. i did get the whooping cough shot at the same time too -so dunno which one made me feel sick. lol Zach had the same shots as me. The boys were fine getting it (but they didnt get the whooping cough shot)

Some people can still have reactions that most don't. Who are you to say someone is proven wrong simply because you showed links stating what I had already stated prior to you? She never said her damn mom got the flu, her mom just had reactions to the shots.

In case you missed it before I did say " imo " before but because you're from South Dakota I'll make it a bit clearer so you get it.

It is my belief that people that complain about " getting sick " or " experiencing " flu symptoms after a shot are only repeating it due to the repetitive negative comments from people such as yourself.

I get the flu shot and I haven't said anything negative about it. I am saying that you aren't paying attention to what you are trying to argue. Your point is completely moot, just because people can't get the flu from the shot (which I already knew and stated prior to you) doesn't mean they can't have a reaction that ends up making them feel sick. And it's great that you can ASSUME to know why someone would say why they are sick after getting the shot.

We got through this exact same thing every year around this time and every year I say basically the same thing so I'm not blowing anything out of proportion .... imo of course. *** Note to self: Self... must remember to always add imo and hope people actually see it which in all likeliness is extremely unlikely*** In fairness to many others here they also say the same thing and stand their ground and through hell or high water nobody ever changes their mind. It's kinda like the gay threads..... either you believe or you don't and I choose not to believe people get " sick, ill, symptoms of the flu etc before, during or after the flu shot. I suppose some people may but I haven't personally met one yet. Maybe I don't get out enough or maybe Americans are more susceptible to it. It beats me all to hell.

Like this discussion forum we had the same bantering session around the lunch table at work on Wednesday. Someone was silly enough to ask if we all were getting the shot. Most answered yes and the very few that said no attributed their decision to " not wanting the get sick " from the bloody thing. Even though they've never had the shot they all knew people that became deathly sick from it.

It's from my favorite non government medical site. If you have the time to read all 831 articles you'll be an expert and can answer all of our questions and concerns as well as debunk a shit load of myths and old wives tales. So far I've read about 10 or so and have a way to go. If someone beats me to the " some people " report :24: they get flu like, sick, ill or whatever the hell you want to call it symptoms please let me know what page it's on.

He's been Jim's doctor for 30+ years.. and mine for 7.. he did my pregnancy and everything.. I am still alive and kicking.. the only time he told me to get a shot was for the H1N1
