Flu Shot

Nope - I havent worked this hard to build up my immune system to knock it down with a flu shot. I have actually noticed too when i was smoking i would get a cold at least once a year - now im no longer smoking I havent had a cold once.... coinkidink? i think not

I got my flu shot on Saturday and got sick right after so...

My arm is just a bit tender today. And silly me.... I had blood drawn this morning in the same arm! LOL!

Everyone I know who got their flu shot said their arm hurt. I assumed it was the county worker who did them for my coworkers, but it must be the actual vaccine? Some of them really do sting.

Mine didn't sting at all. It hurt when the needle went deep into the muscle. Started to feel like I was slugged just a little while later.

Ah, my last gardasil shot was like that, my arm was so sore afterward.

When I had blood drawn today.... I didn't even feel the poke of the needle. The nurse was 24 years old! The last time I had blood drawn.... it hurt like hell and I had a bruise soon after.... the nurse was in her 60's!

I suppose the 60 something nurse needs to practice on an orange again! LOL!

Guyzerr, I know you may well just brush this aside as you have what Pan told you, but be that as it may, it seems something needs to be said.


I certainly don't have any memory of you always being like this, but recently your attitude has become incredibly sour. Every debate you're in becomes snippy and personal. You seem to get irritated by everything, no matter what anyone says to you in any tone, and in response you make condescending comments and treat everyone as if they were beneath you.


I don't know what thorn you have in your paw, but I agree with Pan that you're creating a miserable atmosphere. Perhaps you need to take a step back and have a break, because at the moment you're throwing attitude at anyone who dares come near you and it's not fun.

It's fairly simple really. It's the same old people posting the same old shit regardless of what or how anyone else thinks aand beause I don't agree with the masses I'm shit on a stick.

Instead of posting what you did why don't you just come clean and admit you still haven't gotten over my comments about your grape picture. Until then we didn't have a problem.

Lol, I really give credit to nurses who are skilled with that stuff, some of them just get it. I think it might have to do with patience.

I never believed in the shot for the average person. I think those like you and others with other health issues it is a different matter. Also if one lives in a house with somebody with those issues it is another matter

My main issue is there are many types of flu one can get. And these shots are not gonna cover em all. I would rather personally and as you said guy this is MY opinion..... I would rather fight off a flu on my own if I get one and let my body deal with it on its own and build up its immune system.
