Jassilem's thread gave me the idea, and being that I hurt myself almost everyday., I thought "lets document these moments"!

clumsy doesn't always involve pain, but rather humiliation...like walking up the stairs to class and seeing someone texting and walking they fall down and go boom...she didn't want to be pictured for fear of embarrassment...

Least you can buy bandaids and supplies at work.

I do something stupid to hurt myself most days. My ex use to say that I don't realize the space I need. (I'm 6ft1).

But yesterday, noT related to my height, I was biting my nails when an IT guy was working on my computer to fix a problem that's been bugging me for a week at work, and I had to pass him something, when I did, I hooked the sharp nail that I was biting on my own wrist, cutting it and it bled and bled and bled...SO stupid.

I'm clumsy. Tripped over my own feet twice on the day I moved into my new house.

Most days I do at least one thing stupid. Usually involves kicking something barefoot or hitting my head.

That baby gate strikes again.. .. caught my pant leg on it today and was kinda suck for a few seconds before getting free and banging my elbow..

Some one want to come and wrap me in bubbly wrapÉ

I came home from work today and saw the old couple across the street had a ladder up in one of their trees. They were standing there looking up a bit confused. So I came inside and told Moonie that I was going to see if I can help.(mistake # 1)
I went over and asked them what they were planning. They said that they were thinking about cutting off this dead branch but were concerned that the ladder was not tall enough and couldn't figure out how to position it. I studied the situation and positioned the ladder and asked them if I could cut it for them. I did not want the 80 year old man trying it himself and get hurt.(mistake # 2). They were concerned that the branch might fall and knock over the ladder I was going to stand on. I assured them that I had studied the physics of the fall and was sure everything would be fine.(mistake # 3)
So I climb the ladder, start the chainsaw, and cut the branch.(mistake # 4)
The branch falls just like they feared and knocked the 10 ft ladder right out from under me. After a quick "Oh Shit" I toss the chainsaw and proceed to do a pretty good swan dive into the dirt. I came up making the sound you make when the wind is knocked out of you(which it was) and saw the looks of absolute horror on my neighbors faces.(priceless in retrospect). I recovered my wind and came away with a little scratch on my face, a bruised lip, and some tender wrists and one bruised ego. They remained mortified for quite a while while I reassured them that I was fine and finally came home and told Moonie all about it. We laughed at my stupidity for quite a while.
I dont think my neighbors will let me cut any more of their branches.

My worse ever bought of clumsy happened in grade 8... I was on the stage in our gym.. I tripped over a raised board and did a face plant in a guys crotch 4 feet below..

I was putting away dishes today, we keep our crock pots in the pantry on the top shelve, I was trying to put the dish in the warmer with onethe hand while holding the lid in the other, while also standing on my tip toes ... anyway, my hands were wet a bit still and I started dropping the crockpot, to prevent this, I let go of the lid, which fell naturally... and hit me on the left side of of my temple, right above the ear beside my eye.

If I get a nice bruise, will get a picture... still feels a bit wonky... and it's been over five hours.

:24: maybe I will have a contest for best story of injury/clumsiness.

Poopa would be in the lead.
