I wouldn't want to call it. Man city are a much better team on paper, but there's something about United that means they just keep on winning. No doubt the experience will pplay a massive factor.
Its true that it's certainly easier to chase first place than to try and keep it.

11 games left for most of us in the league.

Being a Swansea City fan I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we can stay up this season. We have a tough run ahead of us and one of our main men, Nathan Dyer recieved a 3 match ban in the game against Wigan on the weekend which they're not appealing against, so he'll be out for Man City and I think it's Fullham and Everton, too. Our away form has let us down but I'm still proud of how we've done in our first season in the prem.

I'm loving the title race this year. I know everyone loves to hate Man Utd and I'm no different but there's no denying they're just a great time and if they do win they would surely deserve it....however!!.....I would just love to see someone else win it. I've had my fingers crossed for Spurs all season, I really like them but it looks like they're out of the running now. I'd be just as happy seeing Man City win it, though.

I've been watching Sunderland Liverpool. Very poor game so far, hope it improves. The wind is apparently quite strong, but still, I expect a little more from both teams.

I'd say this has 0-0 written all over it. So expect lots of goals in the second half now.

There was controversy in the Bolton-QPR game, the ball certainly crossed the line from Clint Hill. But then Cisse's goal which was given was offside, so it evened itself out in the end in a way, but the goal line technology debate will be out again.

Liverpool go down 1-0 at Sunderland, Bendtner scored the winner. Aston Villa finally win a game, beating Fulham 1-0. Chelsea squeeze past Stoke 1-0 who had Fuller sent off, Drogba becomes the first African player to get to 100 Premier league goals and Blackburn get a priceless 2-0 win at Wolves.

Wolves are a horrible game raising club, and they sacked a manager who wasn't doing that badly surely. Watch them against us next week, they'll put some effort in. Spurs are bottling it, they play Stoke next week and then Chelsea away. Tough. Arsenal go to Everton which is tricky before playing Villa at home.

I feel the same way about Wolves, I don't know what they expected from Mick... But he got them from a mid-level championship team, into the Premiership, and kept them there. Maybe they wanted more from their third season in the premiership, but it's not easy. And sacking the manager after Christmas and having nobody else to bring in is just plain bad ownership.

Why didn't Kenny start with Downing? Henderson isn't really a "quality" player yet.

Because Downing's shit too. :D

Here's some Kenny logic; if Mereiles, Aquilani and Cole are good enough for Chelsea, Milan and Lille respectively. And Maxi scores pretty much everytime he plays, then the Liverpool starting line up that's left behind must be really something!

Here's some better logic; Adam, Henderson, Spearing. Probably not good enough for the GB Olympic team starting line up. :tooth

Liverpool have some woefully average players all over the pitch, such as Adam, Henderson, Downing, Johnson, Spearing and players who aren't quite at the top level anymore, like Carragher and possibly Gerrard. And they're also closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top of the league. And for some, Kenny's still the answer.

Yeah and the 8 game ban can't really be blamed either, because he only missed 4 league matches. Clearly not top class, he's good, but not top class. And we all know about Carroll's problems.

Here's the reason (I hope) he didn't start with Downing. Here are his stats.
