text speak, while its on the twitchy/annoying side, i can see past because you're limited to how many characters. But in the situation i posted about in post #15 with very obvious misspellings, i just want to slap people

I know that is where that is from. Jim Carrey's first show, etc etc etc.

Now... explain "butt secks", "sexah" and any of the other brain-dead gangsta crap you spew when attempting to look "cool".


I'm waiting patiently for a response I know will not be forthcoming.

ive never said sexah but maybe ive said secksi which is just a play on buttseckz which in itself is an internet meme.

I don't usually complain myself about purposeful misspellings, which are like the meme's you're quoting. Isn't quoting just as bad as 'purposely misspelling' since it is in fact purposely misspelling? Anyway...my pet peeves run more toward simply blatant misspellings that make me cringe, as someone posted earlier about their friend's facebook status. That and using improper forms of words such as "your" "you're" and "yore". Alas, as I'm on the internet I've learned that I must deal with such things to a certain extent, or simply isolate myself from the online world altogether.
