Lol, this is from my local newspaper and happened at the estate where my local shopping hatch is. Got to love Harlow chavs. Sure contenders for the Jeremy Kyle show, this pair! :willy_nilly:

Hellraising pair banned from every council home in Harlow

By Chris Moss A HELLRAISING mother and daughter who terrorised a Harlow neighbourhood with their drunken and violent behaviour have been banned from every council property in the town.
Chelmsford County Court granted the six-month injunction to Harlow Council’s housing service after hearing how Tracey Ayers (46) and her daughter Kayleigh Blunnie (25) intimidated neighbours and engaged in drunken street brawls while living in Spring Hills.
The court was told the unemployed pair moved between at least four different flats in Harlow, befriending vulnerable occupants or breaking in before turning the properties into "drinking dens".
One witness described how the warring mother and daughter even turned on each other outside a flat in Spring Hills on Mother’s Day, fighting drunkenly in the street.
Harlow Council began receiving complaints about the pair in April 2011, with one neighbour comparing the atmosphere in the road as similar to "living in the Bronx" in a reference to the notoriously tough New York neighbourhood.
Ayers and Blunnie were given 24 hours to leave their last known address in Spring Hills after the judgement was issued on June 22, and are now banned from entering any council house in Harlow without written permission until December of this year.
Police and housing officers have since secured the property, which is now empty. The emergency ruling renders the pair subject to arrest if its terms are violated.
Councillor Clive Souter, Harlow Council’s portfolio holder for housing, told the Star this week: "This selfish pair had reduced their street to a state of fear through their appalling behaviour and were effectively bullying their way into living in properties where they were not even the tenant.
"What this ruling shows is that the Council will use all the tools available to us in preventing anti-social behaviour."

a flat is a house right? so wtf are they basically homeless until winter? i don't condone their actions as I bitch about. I I honestly doubt whoever compare the behavior as living in The Bronx have never been to an american ghetto. Not that i've visited The Bronx, but unless they were shooting people and slanging guns and drugs... I can't see it.

An apartment.

They won't be homeless. There are other housing options available. They could go to the local Housing Association or homeless charity. Though if they keep up their behaviour, they won't last long in either one.

The other option would be to live with friends or family. Or move out of the area.

This.^^^ The'll probably get put is some scummy rent a room place or some hostel. Saying it's like the Bronx is just a common expression over here to say it's bad, not to be taken literally. I guess it's pretty much like saying living somewhere is like living in the wild west or something. ;)

Ever been to a central London council estate Dana...?? Or met a very pissed off group of pikies or yobs... you may have guns over here Dana but we got our own problems with gang violence and knifes, bottles, metal poles unfortunately the weapons that are used in the UK take more effort to kill a man than a lazy ass gun so in hind sight I think in someways we are a lot more violent than your version of the Ghetto. I grew up in a council estate until my early teens I know what its like to deal with idiots like those 2 and in all honesty what was done is justified so that the other residents don't got to live on fear pc getting there ass beat homes robbed ect. Don't pass judgement until you do some research dear.
