People are all different shapes and sizes and just because you don't think they are attractive doesn't mean they need to hide away in a hole. This mindset that anyone who is above a size 4 and/or have physical imperfections need to cover up completely and "hide their shame" is ridiculous. If you don't like it, don't look at it, simple.
As for Beth Ditto -- she is an XL Lady Gaga, she hasn't done anything that other stars haven't done before. I for one admire her confidence. She is very extreme... but nowadays extreme seems to be the new statu quo. She is rather pretty when she isn't trying to shock people LoL Plus she is a very talented singer

Implying there aren't any women who have had children or that may not have the body of a super model on this board and may wear a bikini.
If they are comfortable enough to wear what makes them happy you don't have any room to judge.

It's amazing that you're shocked at the reaction this thread has gotten. I would NEVER go out in a bikini (check w/ me again when I hit my goal weight, ha ha) and I have seen several women that shouldn't as well, but if they feel good enough about themselves to do it, more power to them.

You singled out a group of women who may have just have had a baby. Because stressing about what they're gonna look like after their pregnancy isn't enough, you had to reassure them they're being judged.
