Lots of seniors fit that bill, widows and widowers who find loving companion often after years of lonliness
Haha okay I see your point but I'm just curious why anyone would marry someone of the same sex if they weren't actually gay?

Surely there can be love without sex
Yes but if you're not homosexual, that implies that you don't have any sort of romantic attraction to your own sex. I love my two best friends but I wouldn't think 'hey, I should marry them'.
I mean, since you can only marry one person at a time, why would you marry someone you didn't actually think of in a romantic sense?
I know a lot of couples who are in love with each other are totally comitted to each other and get by quite fine sans sex, one case involves a parapalegic, now in each case the couples are male/female and happily legally married, so marriage need not involve sexYes but if you're not homosexual, that implies that you don't have any sort of romantic attraction to your own sex. I always figured CA would be the first state to do it. Good job, New York!
California really needs to get on board, the financial gain from a move like this is huge.
San Francisco legalized it a couple of years ago, and then it got overturned due to Prop 8.
So much for separation of church and state.
It's all these nut case religious zealots who think that Marriage automatically means a man and a woman.
It doesn't make a fucking difference as long as it's two ADULTS. That should be the only stipulation.
what the right wingers won't accept or love to remain ignorant on is that homosexuals are legitimately the way they are because something happened in their life to drive them to that lifestyle.
it isn't natural, it's artistic, and that's fine.

to deny gay marriage is to deny human rights.
Why limit it to two? So long as their adults I don't think it should matter.San Francisco legalized it a couple of years ago, and then it got overturned due to Prop 8.

any evidence to back that up, i can say that none of my gay friends fit that defintiitonthat homosexuals are legitimately the way they are because something happened in their life to drive them to that lifestyle.

that i agree withto deny gay marriage is to deny human rights.
