The thread about religious folks coming to the door got me to thinking about door to door salesmen.
Do you guys get regularly visited by door to door sales people? If so, what are they selling, and do you ever buy? or do you just ignore them like JW's and other door knocking bible thumpers?
I answer the door sometimes, and 9/10 I don't buy anything.
However, more often than not I answer the door, and the person on the other side says: "Is the man or woman of the house home?" and I say, "No, my Mom and Dad don't get home from work until later, and I'm not supposed to open the door for strangers."
More often than not, I get a "have a nice day, and they walk off...." sometimes though, they look at me really strange.
Is the man or woman of the house home? Lulz, this is MY house.
