It's nice not to wail on America once in a while. Because there is much I admire.

Your's is truly a country of extremes, in every sense of the word. A country torn between dichotymy. It is fascinating.
 
Oh, come on. What about America's heyday in automotive history--the 50s and 60s? Who doesn't drool over a '62 Corvette convertible or a '65 Ford Mustang or a '57 Chevy BelAir?? I'll take any of those over a hamburger or a slice of apple pie!
 
Hell, I'm American and when I think about things I like about this country, our cars aren't even in my top 25.


Most American made cars before the 90s were bangin'. Any car made after the 90s, they thought, hell, let's make them crap cars to sell them for cheap and when they need repairs, we'll charge the car owners an arm and a leg.

i had a hand in building my european car,in 5 years along with regular services its had a ball joint and track rod end changed..definately not american:D
