Hmmm.. most of the things I like to do are not on the options...I wish you had an "Other" option also..

* I voted Reading... because I am a voracious reader..

* I used to enjoy long walks and shopping.. but since becoming semi disabled, I can't do that anymore, but..

* I like to learn and teach myself new things..

* I enjoy container gardening.. growing some vegetables and flowers in spring and summer..

* I like to do crafts, like needlepoint, cross stitch and crochet.. and some sewing.. besides others..

* I love to spend time with, and take care of all my pets..

* I love to spend time just sitting outside, meditating and enjoying nature's sights and sounds.. watching the creek go by and feeding the fish in it from my dock... listening to the birds calling each other and watching the babies take their first flight out of the nest..

Your answer reminded me of a story:

The old church just had the one door at the back where everyone exited after the church service. This old church everyone filed out with the front rows being the first to exit. Everyone was anxious to get to their lunch or afternoon plans and then they saw the old couple at the front of the line stop and speak to the preacher. The old man walked with a cane, from many years of hard labor, and his wife at his side she too hunched with age and being steadied by the old man. As they exited to the steps each of which was taken cautiously, the old man stops and bends to smell the roses growing on each side of the steps. As he does a comment is made behind him by someone younger and in a rush. He turns and smiles and responds, "It took me almost 70 years to learn how to do that.";)

:):thumbup Everyone is always in a rush, trying to get "there" as fast as possible and forget to take the time to smell the roses...
I was like that too when I was younger... thinking I would have time to do all those extra things after I got "there"... therefore, missing the "little things" that were happening at the moment and are so important in life..

We all learn eventually, that those "little things"... like watching your children play and be children... will never come back... and we neglect to think that we might not be able to take those long walks someday...

Reading is my biggy in the winter months along with watching the odd movie...oh and PS3 games. Then swimming and fishing (catch and release, I don't like to kill things), hiking etc in the warmer-no-snow months. I would have checked off golf too, however i hate the sport it self but enjoy driving the carts and having a good laugh - then being told off for being too loud. LOL

I rarely drag out my clubs. Been 2 or 3 years but I am playing a scramble tomorrow. I must remember to laugh at myself.:24:
