I'd really need to invest in a better lens before I can get a decent moon shot :p

There's got to be a way round that though. I might just paint a white circle on my cleavage.

Could one of you photography experts recommend the best ISO and exposure settings etc. for a noob like me?

Yikes... what kind of camera and what kind of lens? Do you have a tripod.

It's cloudy here and on the verge of raining so I doubt I'll be able to shoot it. :mad

It's a Kodak z710 with 10 x optical zoom lens.
It does have a PASM mode to manually set things like f, ISO and I guess apeture or shutter speed it can be set to 1/8 to 1/60 etc.

Yes I will be using a tripod

I'm not familiar with your camera and I hope the lens will do the trick. I would start out at 1/30 second with an Av of f11 @ 100 iso. Whack off a shot and take a look at it. Make adjustments in small increments one function at a time and try to leave the iso alone. You want to leave as much noise out of it as possible. ie: If ng decide if over / under exposed and try a one stop more, if that doesn't work try one less. Then fart around with the shutter speed as necessary. I find it helpful to write stuff down as I go because me brain seems to forget from one shot to the next. ;) Oh... and don 't shake the camera when you fire the button. It doesn't take much. Let me know how you make out. I'm curious.

f only goes to 8, iso is 100, shutter is 1/30.

Will take some and let you know, maybe post one or two.
