I did not see the big deal about the moon last night

Maybe I missed when it first came up over the horizon and that was the time to take a pic

I wanna try taking moon shots especially taking tonite's opportunity . Unfortunately, the Canon camera I was supposed to have last December, I had to return due to some unexpected financial events in December. I feel left out missing on these photography league and moon shot events you guys are all participating
