She forgot to put a burger in my bag and went back in to let them know I was missing a burger.

I told her nicely that I was missing a mushroom swiss angus burger. She was so apologetic lol

While I was waiting on it, she came over to me again and kept on apologizing. I told her It was ok, was just an honest mistake and for her not to be upset about it. Wasnt a big deal at all.

Then she busted out crying and im like WTF. I asked her if she was ok and asked why is she crying. She told me that I was so nice about it, earlier in the evening she forgot to put something in the bag for another guy and he screamed at her calling her names.

So appearently it was a happy cry that someone was nice about her forgetting and i didnt make her feel like crap.

Shes been stressed in college

So I gave her a little hug and told her try not to let people get to her like that.

She told me she wished more people were nice like me :)

Just teasing.. Good for you for having the common sense many don't. I am much like you and take things in stride.. Very rarely lose my cool.. ;)
 
People get irrationally angry about food and waiting staff. It's like they're not people. I worked in a bar for 6 months mainly serving food from the kitchen and the people were horrible.
 
That's cool at you. One of my biggest peeves is people who yell at the staff at restaurants or employees at grocery stores etc. 99% of the time it's over something stupid and they are just doing it because they know they can get away with it.
