I made the young lady cry at mcdonalds

Poor girl. I always feel bad for people like that. First and foremost, you can get your point across w/o being a dick. It's a shame more people in this world don't realize that. I don't know why anybody would think it's okay to yell and scream at a teenage girl (or a grown man, for that matter) for something as stupid as an incorrect food order. I always assume people like that have an extremely miserable life and have to try to make other people feel bad so that they can feel better. As I've gotten older I've decided not to give those people that power over me. ;) I'm glad you brightened her day, Haus. :)
 
This is why I could never work in a shop or restaurant ect. Customers know they can behave like they want and the staff cant do anything about it. If I was working for minimum wage in a burger bar and someone started screaming and swearing at me, I'd jump over the counter and beat the fuck out of them!
 
lol that is sweet. I was a bitch to some guy at ATT today. I got a text and it said "Test" and I so I replied "???" and I got another text saying "This is Brock at ATT, please disregard" I replied "Why did you text my phone?"

and at that point he called. When he called I heard kids in the background, so I'm thinking it's some guy jerking my chain. So I tell him I don't have ATT, how did he get my number, etc. I said "I think you're full of it!" He said "No m'am. I'm sorry for my mistake, and I am not full of it!!"

I told him to be nice or I would call his manager...as if I would even know who that was!!!

I'm so ridiculous. Poor guy. Good on you Haus for not being a bitch like me!

Exactly. I work at a hotel at the front desk and a lot of people are just assholes. The worst though is when they call to bitch. It's like they can't see you so they feel they can really unleash.
That's okay though, I have a system. I jack their room rate up if they're rude :nod:

LOL My brain went to something totally different before I even finished reading that... :24: Seriously though, if I were around and I heard him say something like that about someone making an honest mistake, I would chew him out. I've done to people before. I even get on my little sisters case about it, she's HORRIBLE!

Eh, we've all tried lol. I usually get a separate bill and write on the back of my receipt "sorry for my friend". I don't fuck with people that handle my food.

Does he complain the the waitstaff or does he just make comments while they're w/in earshot??? Because that is one of my biggest pet peeves. If you're an adult you need to act like one...that means asking me to change the channel on the TV instead of mumbling under your breath about how you're sooooooooo tired of watching whatever channel it's on. Ugh, I really hate that.

He does both. I have that peeve too. Grow a set and confront someone instead of dropping hints, wankers. Damn.

I'm not the biggest fan of her husband lol.
