My Dog had Surgery

Looks like they could have trimmed the ends closer to the knots, but maybe they need to be long? I it take those will be removed and are not the ones that dissolve?

I bet Winston will look just fine after he's fully healed and his fur grows back.

ok so I did some googling. I really can't believe I didn't google it before he went and had it removed.

I guess if I ever have kids I will be prepared before they go to the doctor.

So if it was just the one mast cell tumor, then the vet hopefully got it and the surrounding tissue (which is why his incision is so big), and as long as it hasn't spread to his lymph nodes or other parts of his body, I just have to get him some radiation or chemotherapy pills

I don't know how costly that is, but maybe there's a chance I can afford it...

I have a shit ton of questions for the vet tomorrow. He wants to take X-rays to see if the tumors have spread, but online it says biopsy is best.

If I don't treat him, usually symptoms get so bad within a year that you have to euthanize... I am really beyond sad right now. He doesn't know what's going on! He's so happy just to see me when I'm actually home... :*(
