You're not married, but how long have you and your significiant other been together? Have you made any sort of commitment?
Where did I imply I wasn't married?
We're celebrating our 10th anniversary this year.

Your situation confuses me. You guys DATE and form relationships with other people but don't have sex with someone else UNLESS your partner is present. Maybe it's just me, but IF I were ever to venture into an open relationship,, I'd much rather it be on a purely physical level than an emotional one. :dunno
We may get physical with the people we date... on our own.
We swing together. 3somes and the like always involve both of us, and whoever else.
I'd like to ask a question too if I may?
Would you knowingly form a relationshipwith /date someone who didnt have this sort of agreement with their S.O?
That is...the person you are dating has a partner who DOESNT know, so in fact they are cheating on them?
I truly believe that love is not something you can divide into pieces as if handing out slices of cake at a birthday party.
Another question, sorry for being nosy lol. But did that lover, and all your lovers in general know about your husband?
Bring on the stones and flames.
I have in the past, yes. We were together for just over 2 years. He did end up leaving his wife, but not for me (I never asked him to). I don't think she ever found out about us.
Given my experience with that relationship, and what I have seen since, I don't think I would ever do it again.
Jealous of shallow relationships? Not me. Open relationships work in the fantasy world, not in the real one.I'm jealous of you Butterfly lol.

butterfly to be applauded for her honesty
If someone has four children, how then, is it possible to love them equally, given that love is not something you can divide into pieces as if handing out slices of cake?
lol at loving children like you love your pets.....
Well I hold pets on a leveled scale I suppose. Just because they cannot speak to me in a sense does not mean they are any less apart of my life. Besides, I treat my dog as an equal. That is the oddity that is me though. My dog is more than a pet. It is family and the only family I have at the moment.
I know what you mean, I consider my pets to be my family, you will never hear me refer to one of them as "it" it's always him or her.
