Ok, so I was invited to this Valentines Day party. It's women only and we're all there because we either hate Valentines Day, men, or both. I'm excited, lol. I'm going with a couple girlfriends, it should be a good time! I've heard about this before, though. Does anyone else have these parties in their area?

I think I've always managed to have a boyfriend around Valentines Day, not on purpose, I just tend to have long-term relationships!

I'm sure there would be. And I'd join in if I had the desire. I think just the fact that I won't be with a man V Day is going to be depressing enough to make my libido drop, lol.

Or you could just use this holiday as just another excuse to do something to make the one you love happy and let them know just how much you love them. Just sayin.

As far as the party goes... I've always wanted to go but all of my female friends are married or in relationships most of the time.

No... but personally I'll use any excuse I can get, and sometimes I do it just because.

As for those of you that are single, you could do something for yourself. That's typically what I did when I was single on Valentines Day.

You know what's really rubbish? All the men who say 'what? I don't need a stupid made up holiday to buy you flowers/chocolates/jewelry/a nice meal!'

But they never seem to do those things any other day of the year either, so maybe one day for that would be quite nice, actually.
