well i keep seeing links to free photo-shop things.....most wont use them...i always stated that it was minimal photoshopping,light etc,that way a photoshop expert was on a par with everyone
I allowed it, because most people shoot in colour, then convert it to black and white, and it isn't very hard to follow tutorials on the internet, unless you get some douche who doesn't know how to write up a tutorial
To be fair, I already had him clarify the photoshop thing earlier specifically for the reasons you mentioned, Ian. Unfortunately, you have to break it down to the most mundane detail b/c people will take things too literally sometimes. I think it's been explained well enough now, though, and if someone submits a picture that doesn't comply w/ the rules just simply tell them "it doesn't conform to the rules" and explain to them what needs to be done. Can't wait to see the photos that were submitted!!!
