You may have already answered this, but are you all ever hopeful for boys rather than girls or girls over boys?

We prefer fillies (girls) to add to our broodmare band. We already have a stallion (Bey) and don't need another right now. Colts (stallions when they grow up) tend to be much higher maintenence because they're thinking about sex all the time (kinda like men :ninja), more difficult to handle and need to be kept separate from other horses.

One time I was leading a mare out the gate, and a pony - male - I don't know when you stop calling them a colt - he was big, but still a pony??

Anyways - he jumps on her to try and get her, and I'm like freaking out and the gate is open and there's this big ass animal ontop of the other big ass animal.

Markings are determined by genetics. So far the foals are all by the same stallion. We have two coming this year that are by different stallions but they haven't been born yet.

All of their horses can be had, for a price. But yeah, generally they are more eager to sell the colts. Depending on what kind of quality you want, twenty bucks may or may not be enough.

Yeah, I saw that. It pisses me off. I posted the video on the model horse forum I'm on and a couple of people there spammed it all over the place without asking me. :mad I know Janie and Thorny posted it on their FB, which is cool because I said it was OK but I didn't want it ALL over the place. I didn't make it private on YouTube because I still wanted to share it but it is unlisted. Frick. Maybe I should just delete it. :mad
