I used to know a lady like that. She opposed Christmas because of all the parties. If you wished her a Merry Christmas, she would respond... I hope to have a Blessed Christmas! lol Some Christians seem to compete with each other over who is the most religious. Even so, all the Christians I've know have been small time. If you want to see some serious ascetics then check out the Jains. They aspire to live naked in the forest and die of self-imposed starvation. Yee haw! Do they know how to have fun or what?
