It all depends on the situation. If it's in the heat of passion then I let the guy take control and be the dominant kisser. But if we're just fooling around I will take the initiative on a lot of occasions. Why do you want to know? Are you looking for sexual advice? Did you meet someone at the bar tonight, take her home and don't know what to do now? :ninja

in the metrosexual social circles i find myself in, everybody hugs.
kissing is a little more intimate and highly variable.
i'll hug a guy or a girl i hardly know because that's the way the cafe society is around me. there are some women who are so expressive they hug you so tight their tits are in your face and kissing you like the tongue is coming if you'll only get her out of there to someplace more private. some very horny people in this town, let me tell you. and longhorns, no less -- the land of queers and steers.
it's way cool, the gay and straight crowds mix freely. never seen them integrate like this before.
twice now though, this past few months, i've had to hand off to friends who wanted to get laid for free for a change. every now and then, a young gay will hit on me, but nothing i have to get mean about to fend off.
i don't kiss strange guys or let them kiss me. with my good friends it's usually more like a hug and cheek to cheek kiss or a fat wet one in the middle of the forehead or on the lips when something really kissworthy goes down or we've been apart a long time.
All the guy "Friends" i have ever had there were some that kissed me on the lips because they wanted to take things further. That's why I have had a lot of FWB. SO no a kiss on the lips from a guy friend has not really seemed ODD to me. It was their way of saying lets get down to business. But I have also had some guy friends kiss me on the lips cuz we were very close and would end the night out saying good night that way too. So nope not odd in my experience.
