A question for the ladies...

OK I had to log back on to let Dana know this is what happens when you kiss on the lips.. Night... :D

A Wisconsin woman bit off half her husband's tongue during a kiss and has been arrested, authorities said on Tuesday.

The bitten piece of the husband's tongue was recovered, and he was taken to a hospital following the incident late on Monday, Sheboygan, Wisconsin police said in a statement.

I don't usually kiss my male friends on the lips or let them kiss me on the lips (not that they're like trying all the time or anything, LOL). I do have one friend who has kissed me on the lips while drunk (which was the majority of the time that we hung out, LOL) but he's the only one.

I should clarify that I'm just talking about platonic friendships, which is what I took the question as meaning. I have allowed a few male friends to kiss me on the lips, but that was on the way to taking things further, LOL

Guys that are just friends don't get a kiss on the lips. The cheek maybe and vice versa. But mainly just a quick hug or even a momentary handshakehold thing. Most of the guys that are my friends.... are my hubby's friends. Kissing on the lips would be just way too awkward.

I wouldn't want my hubby to lip lock any other woman who happens to be just a friend... mine or his. Hugs I don't mind.... so long as it's not full body longer than 2 seconds and holding..... If you know what I mean.

It appears to me we have a couple of guys with ... um... gender issues. :24: According to the title this is a thread for the ladies to answer yet some ga... um... guys answer. It's ok to come out of the closet boys... it really is. Come on... you can do it. I promise I won't laugh. ;)

Well when it comes to my female friends I sometimes kiss them on the cheek and sometimes dont. Dont kiss them on the lips though, maybe if I wasn't married and trying to get some but not in my situation and even so, not in just a friendship way with no hidden agenda.

im gonna answer this just cause I can. :p

There is only one friend at the moment I kiss on the lips but were not platonic unless were are in a relationship with other people.

but the girl friends I have that i am platonic with..no i wont kiss them on the lips. Even my Ex's that we became or stayed friends after we broke up I dont kiss on the lips

I do not kiss my guy friends and I certainly do not let them kiss me.

Then again, I'm weird and kissing on the lips is a big deal to me. I can still count on my fingers how many guys I've kissed.

Same here. I guess I am a bit overly conservative about physical contact. I can count the number of people I have kissed on one hand! In fact, I dated several guys that I never actually kissed. Odd? Perhaps.

Talking about physical contact, years ago I quit one of those pretzel joints in the mall because the manager made me feel uncomfortable. Whenever he needed me to move he would guide me in the direction he wanted me to go in by touching my hips or my lower back rather than my shoulder or something. In the safe little world that I live in those areas along with my lips and other obvious locations are off limits to the general public.

I have several male married friends who I kiss on the lips.....it's nothing sexual, just a peck....what's wrong with that? That IS what lips are for no?

What do their wives think??? My missus is extremely secure and tolerant compared to most women, she dosen't even mind me having female friends staying over while she's away but she'd go livid if she caught me kissing another woman on the lips!!!:willy_nilly:

They're good friends of mine, they know me well enough to know that it's just the way that I am. Now, if I kissed them on the earlobe or lower......that's when one should worry...lol That beind said, I know when and where to draw the line, if the girlfriend or wife of a male friend of mine is the kind of person who would be bothered by such a kiss....I'd settle for the cheek.;)
