Hate the news feed layout now - way to go Facebook 
I don't mind the layout so much as I mind facebook deciding what's a 'top story' to me. So far it's picked out a load of crap, from people I don't care about.
The new fb treats you like your retarded, asking you if you want just friends etc to see your comment, well duh of course, and the directions are lame as fuck lol. I havent been getting my notifications properly either.
It's gonna change even more drastically potentially. I don't use twitter but I've seen other tweets from twits and some of this seems a bit similar:

They just need to leave it/us alone. I'm not minding the music idea, but anything else - who cares?
It seems to prioritise my news feed based on people I interact with the most. Which is silly really because there the people I see everyday so I know what they've done with there days

It's trying to be like Twitter essentially, but it looks like a bit of a clusterfuck, especially at the top. The RT updates at the side are fine but don't look totally conducive with the page, and the top bar is just horrible. Ideally it'll just realise it looks like an aids ridden penis and go back to what it was, and let Twitter deal with the realtime updates stuff, because that is the diploma award structure of how to structure that kind of page.
I just find it funny facebook made this big change the day google+ properly pushed their product for the first time. Obviously facebook's way of trying to fend off google+, haha.
Perhaps it's a neverending circle of changes.

I agree with you two - I've gotten used to it already myself. It does seem to be a little easier for me; having the recent stuff at the top.
I dont use Facebook much anymore to be fair, so I'm finding it reasonably easy to get used to as I only have to look at it once or twice a day

thats pretty cool. If it ever did come down to paying, which I cant see it doing considering how much money it already makes, I dont think I'd use it as I only use it now to chat to friends who live on the other side of the world.
