FedEx Deliveries

So I bought all of my daughters family Christmas presents online and had the presents delivered right to her house to save on me having to ship them. The store shipped them FedEx. Turns out the FedEx guy delivered the last package which was a hoodie for my one day son-in-law late last night and never knocked. He just left the package outside her door because it didn't need a signature.

Turns out someone walked off with the package. Now her being the receiver has to file a claim with FedEx about the package and I have a feeling that she's not going to get anywhere with them. I called them after midnight to tell them that he never knocked and the package was left there like that and they were very rude about it.

Anyone ever have this happen and how did you resolve it?

bloody hate that! i cought a delivery man putting the slip through my door once.. cos i heard the letter box. was like wtf? why didnt you knock? its highly unlickly that i failed to hear him knock but managed to hear the letterbox shutting.

Well the thing is that there was somebody home when he delivered it. It's a real bummer to happen for Christmas.

oh thats not good i hate when they don't knock at the door never lost anything like this but had some different troubles because they don't knock while you there at home all day and waiting.. not this company but another

Yeah it sure seems that way! My daughter called them and they are giving her the run around. Even though their site says that it was delivered at 9:29 pm they say it wasn't delivered til 10:30 pm. WTF are they doing delivering packages that late at night? I have no idea how this is going to get resolved...

Highly! I'm really pissed off about it but theres nothing I can do cuz I'm not the sender or the receiver they told me.

Your first mistake was using Fedex.... I usually leave my downstairs door unlocked and lock my top so if I get something UPS they usually throw it in the stairway leading upstairs.

Dana I didn't use Fedex. Read Dana read. The store I boought it from online used FedEx. I had no choice in the matter.

No other stores had what I wanted to get Dana. I didn't have any problems with the other 3 packages that were delivered FedEx. Just this last one. I asked if anyone had any ideas on how to resolve this and youre not helping any....

Call the business where you ordered the goods from. It's their responsibility to make suer you get what you paid for.... or call your credit card company and have them withdraw the payment.
