it was only a few years ago it was under a buck a song. we can still get buck movie rentals, why are single songs up that high?
the other thing i would like to point out is what you are doing to the musicians and composers. screw the recording industry for all i care, they're just mafiosi of a different stripe. the artists themselves don't get paid for your free download of they're song.
how can everybody's interests be met here?
another thing, i just snagged a drive out of a dumpster with over 100 gigs of music on it. i'll be glad to share what's on it with any of you. the drive is right here and i can upload it to where ever you want.
there's a lot of mainstream 50's - 80's rock along with a bunch of great rockabilly players and what i call punk or headbanger music and of all things, a mess of movie and stage music and crooners like frank sinatra, bing crosby and dean martin.

I tried Frostwire this week and it kept trying to make me install some toolbar and gave me tons of pop-ups. I deleted that shit real quick like.
Maybe iTunes has cheap songs, or maybe it's just new upcoming artists who aren't worth much yet.
I'll never understand why people don't just buy CDs. They're stupidly cheap and probably the best value for money item you could possibly purchase.
CDs can be expensive here, up to $30 for an album. Seems like too much to be honest lol.

Spotify is pretty tremendous for something you have absolutely no obligation to pay for. I mean it's a very very reasonable price you pay if you want to pay, but the quality is very good even without doing it. Plus it has The Dandy Warhols on it, they deserve an open top bus parade.

yeah it's like iTunes, but you have access to pretty much all music and you just listen for free, no downloading, with adverts every couple of songs.
