There comes a time in ones life where after dealing with snow and cold for so many years we just want to live in a nice toasty Warm climate. Not too hot and not too cold but just right! It gets HOT here during the summer but you can't beat the weather we're having right now. It's in the 70's here with a nice breeze.
Nice pics Guyz!

Ed I refuse to adapt to it again. I've adapted to cold weather enough in my life already. That's why I moved back to the coast. It's that stinkin' global warming working it's wonders. This area never used to get these temps. It's supposed to be the bestest climate in Canada.

So is refusing to adapt going to make the weather better?

Why? Cuz I wouldn't live in a deep-freeze or a refrigerator and that's what it's like. I absolutely hate it.

But the fact is you do live in a deep-freeze for a good portion of the year. You know the saying, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I think that applies here ;)

Now I'm curious Ed. Where in northern B.C. did you live?

Nice pics! Like the 2nd pic the most. I love snow just as long as I don't have to live in a place with snow. I'm loving our mid 60s temperature out here

don't complain, enjoy it. Cold weather and snow can be fun.

Only when you're inside with a cup of hot chocolate, by a fire, under a blanket

Fuck adapting to this shit. According to the gd weatherman this hasn't happened here at this time of the year since 19 fucking 85. To put that in perspective Ed that's one generation.

Right now it's a gazillion below with a hundred mph wind.

Well not that bad but it feels like it. The actual temp is.........

:yuk I lived in Prince George for two years and I'm not sure which place is worser.

Kitimat was so radically different from anything I'd experienced in Europe or the UK, I really liked it. Cold as fuck, but awesome. Great summer though. I never made it to Prince George, I think Kitimat is a little warmer than that - the coldest it got when I was there was -42ºC I think. If I remember rightly from the TV weather forecasts, PG was regularly at -50ºC.

It's actually not that common for the temps in either area to go much below -30 very often. That said, it really doesn't matter cuz when it's past -30 it's just to the bone cold. The thing that will make the difference is if it's windy.

The great thing about any of those places up there is if you drive 5 minutes out of town in any direction you're in really wild country. One major downside is the stench from those bloody mills.

First off nice pics Guy.
I would if I could.
Yeah your weather hits us if it doesn't get tangled too long in the mountains...

no snow here yet.... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Shut up! You will get yours! I am pretty damn sure of it...

Well I only experienced 2 winters in northern BC but I totally fell in love with it. You should know by now that you've just got to adapt to the temperatures outside. Seeing as you've got a good few months of cold temps and snow every year, why not enjoy it?

Personally, give me -40ºC and 5ft of snow over hot sunny weather any day.
Ok you live here and will go where you are... it's been hovering -20C for a week and we have about 2feet of snow... right at this moment it's -21C with a wind chill of -33C

Exactly.. and I am in a slightly warmer part of the deep freezer...
