Ooo a photo competition. I saw that. But as I don't know when my computer will be fixed at home, I might not be able to enter.
That is a shame

Hopefully it will be fixed. Apparantly just some disc is needed but I don't know. I'm not a computer nerd lol
What computer do you have? (Please say a mac)
It's not a mac. it's some PC with Windows XP.
But I turned it on about 2 weeks ago and Windows had vanished from my computer and now it won't start until I fix windows.
Not even with a error message?
Do you have the original operating system disk?![]()
A blue message flashes up for a second but I cannot read it. But other than that no.
You missed lots of drama, but that could be a good thing lol.
Ah, the dreaded BSOD:thumbdown Did it do it all the time?
So, you DO have the disk but your computer won't read it? I don't pretend to be a geek here. You may need to start a thread in the Computer section. They're pretty helpful here. You may need to reset the Bios so that it first reads the CD/DVD drive first. Where to do that is uncertain. If you start it up, keep pressing down either the F1 or F2 function key. That will generally take you to the Bios. You may see options to change the order of booting. Hopefully, you'll see an option to Save this information. After that, turn off the computer and then insert the disk and reboot. I have no idea if this will help or not. I just got a little info from Google.A blue message flashes up for a second but I cannot read it. But other than that no.
I thought I did but it's not working.
Do what all the time? Flash up? It's only done it a few times. I mainly just keep being sent a black screen asking me how I want to start the computer but none of the options work
Yeah, well after restart you get start up similar to this after the BSOD

Yeah that's what I get. But no matter what I go on, nothing works.
