Oh we'll go for it. Yeah sure the fact we can't rest the big names should it go to the last day is a bit horrible considering Barcelona will, but it's just the situation we find ourselves in.

The best case scenario is beating Chelsea next week, then getting anythnig from the Blackburn game to wrap up the Title. Then we can play a weakened team against Blackpool. The scenario which will do but which isn't ideal is drawing with Chelsea then just making sure we do enough in the last two (4 points) to make sure we win the Title. The worst case is losing to Chelsea and then losing the Title on goal difference. Which would suck.

Also for anyone interested, QPR's hearing starts Tuesday over that player they weren't meant to play or something. They could face a 15 point penalty.

that wont happen because they did the same as west ham did when they signed tevez

I think they'll just get a fine. It'd be funny if they did get a deduction though, just to see Warnock's face, couldn't happen to a nicer twat.

5th OK, so Tottenham have got a game in hand, but if they lose against us, then we go into Europe next season (again) [Due to goal differences] :24: I believe in miracles

Looking at the run in.

Spurs games : Blackpool (H)
Man City (A)
Liverpool (A)
Birmingham (H)

Liverpool games : Fulham (A)
Tottenham (H)
Aston Villa (A)

Tough for both teams really. Spurs do have a good record at Man City over the years. Fulham and Villa away are tricky. Spurs *should* pick up maximum points at home, though they have lost to Wolves and Wigan at home this season.

It'll all come down to the games at Anfield and the Man City game in my view.

Not to sound elitist but the Europa League really is a mickey mouse competition. You just don't play the cream of Europe in it and to be honest the thoguht of having to play Thursday/Sunday would be a major put off.

But the reserve/younger players can then have a bit of experience in other competition

Way to miss my point about the prestige of it.

Breed the younger players in the domestic cup competitions like we do, or maybe in the Premiership against smaller teams.

I sadly have to agree with you Springsteen, it's only a micky mouse competition but it's still a trophy to go for if you're in it. Just look at Fulham last season or Millwall all those years ago! XD But if I'm honest, I'd rather not be in Europe next season as then we can concentrate on the league alot more and HOPEFULLY win the league which might seem a laugh but if we can play like we are right now next season then who knows.

Wow, it's not often you hear a Liverpool supporter admit that nowadays Liverpool aren't much different from Fulham or Millwall. :D

New kit season usually around this time. Here's Arsenals for next season.

Not so sure on that badge (not that I'll be wearing it, but whatever) but the rest is standard stuff.

Never said that the Europa Cup or whatever it is called is not a mickey mouse cup, but it is a way to get our youngsters a way to get some experience, hence we need it

Norwich City are back in the Premier League after a 1-0 win at Portsmouth, ending a 6 year absence.
