Tottenham came from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Arsenal at WHL. Chelsea beat Birmingham 3-1 at the bridge and both are 6 points behind us now with 5 to play. This is going to be interesting.

Torres score?

Stupid question :D

torres would have been rampant at arsenal

I can't see it. He never clicked with Spain, or Chelsea. But in Liverpool and madrid, where they played defensive, counter attacking football through the middle, he shone.

Torres wouldn't have been rampant anywhere, as he's suffering from confidence issues. He has been for the better part of two years. Yes he scored now and then for Liverpool this season and last but it wasn't the free flowing Torres we saw in 2007/08. He'll probably score eventually, he's very good, but it's just getting it.

Another massive weekend in the Premier League, we play Everton at 12.45 in an absolute must win game. Chelsea play West Ham at 5.30 and Arsenal travel to Bolton tomorrow, the likelyhood is the gap will remain 6 points after the weekend is all said and done between us and Chelsea, with Arsenal perhaps dropping further behind should they slip up at Bolton. The dream of course is the 9 point lead. We'll have that for 5 hours should victory follow against Everton.

Line up is VDS, O'Shea, Evans, Ferdinand, Fabio, Valencia, Gibson, Anderson, Nani, Hernandez, Rooney.

Everton : Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Osman, Neville, Rodwell, Bilyaletdinov, Coleman, Beckford.

Cahill on the bench for them, as well as Arteta not travelling.

Gibson and Anderson slightly worries me in midfield though expect Rooney to drop deep to help out.

I think we'll eventually score but we've just been making the wrong decisons when near the goal area.

I'd bring Owen on for Gibson and go 4-3-3 witth Rooney in the hole, Gibson's been useless as always.

If Arsenal don't bottle it today, then them and Chelsea have a good chance of taking the title off Man Utd

I think we'll beat Arsenal next week regardless, the 4-3-3 formation which we always play against them works because they are incapabale of outmuscling us in the midfield area because they just aren't as powerful. And then who knows with Chelsea. I'll say this, Blackpool will be praying we've won the Title by the time we play them, because they are in a relegation scrap, and if we've won it by May 22nd, which I fully expect us to have done, then we'll rest a lot of players should we have qualified for the CL final. If we haven't won it by then we'll play the big boys and win 5-0.

We will have to see that, you have to win seven points to win the league for sure, and with Chelsea up next after that.....ooh, tantalising if you lose both :D

I don't think we'll lose both, especially given the way we bossed Chelsea in the games recently.

6 points from the next two would guarantee the League.

Also what a wonderful singing Javier Hernandez has been, 6 million and 19 goals. Lovely lad to boot.

It's hard for me to admit that Fergie has got the best bargain of the Premier League era but £6m for 19 goals compared to £50m for 1 goal....It's a no brainer!
