Because they are bottlers, why anyone is surprised I don't know, they've been doing it every year since 2005. Ever since they lost the bulk of the unbeaten team of 2004 they have gone to pieces. That was a team of men, this is a classroom.

It's not even that team as such, the 2003/4 team has players like Keown, Campbell and Cole in defence, Vieira, Ljungberg and Pires in the midfield and Henry and Bergkamp up front. Yes it's hard to replace those players when it's time to replace them but it can be done, it's just been done the wrong way by Arsenal because they haven't followed the successful spells the previous teams have.

Yeah but our youngsters got bedded in alongside more experienced players. Beckham played with Cantona, Scholes played with Keane, Neville played with Bruce and Pallister. Plus our 92 team was far far better than the current Arsenal crop.

It's not so bad at Arsenal, the problems are in defence.

Reina or Lloris are two options for goalkeepers
And there's been talk of Subotic and Sakho, Subotic is a big towering Serb I think, and Sakho is a quick and strong French centre back.
I wouldn't say no to Mascherano if he fancied a move back to the premiership, but I hear he's getting a run of games now. Shame.

I still have my doubts about Van Persie, but he's scoring goals so I'll keep faith.

Arsenal vs Manchester United in just under 40 minutes, and in royal wedding week, two more wins would make us Kings of England again. However a draw today and a win against Chelsea would guarantee it also. I'd love to win it against Chelsea just so they have to give us a guard of honour.

Both sides should have had a penalty, them in the first, us just then when there was a clear stamp on Owen.

This is kinda like the semi final against City, they haven't been terrific but we've been shit. Not going to score today.

If we don't lose next week we'll win the Title. But if we were to lose I suppose that would give impetus to Chelsea, however from that they have the harder run in. Newcastle at home and Everton away, whereas we go to Blackburn and then play Blackpool at home. There's no cause for outright panic yet, but it could become more difficult next week. It might well come down to us having to hammer the life out of Blackpool to win the Title. But next week is the bigger picture now.

fergies going to hate the dilemma, risk losing points to save players for the champions league final,or simply go for it

Oh we'll go for it. Yeah sure the fact we can't rest the big names should it go to the last day is a bit horrible considering Barcelona will, but it's just the situation we find ourselves in.

The best case scenario is beating Chelsea next week, then getting anythnig from the Blackburn game to wrap up the Title. Then we can play a weakened team against Blackpool. The scenario which will do but which isn't ideal is drawing with Chelsea then just making sure we do enough in the last two (4 points) to make sure we win the Title. The worst case is losing to Chelsea and then losing the Title on goal difference. Which would suck.

Also for anyone interested, QPR's hearing starts Tuesday over that player they weren't meant to play or something. They could face a 15 point penalty.
