By that logic, Mascherano is a crap defensive midfielder because liverpool conceded when he played too. Hell, Makelele must be the worst midfielder in the history of the game because he played for a Real Madrid team that leaked goals.
You should think about what you write when you post.. Because you do come up with the most absurd logic sometimes.
Also. you're welcome to try and find anyone here who really believes Lucas is better than Poulsen.

Well Poulsen is clearly not a good player, if we've finished with Masch, and now we're 2nd from bottom with Poulsen, where is your logic? :dunno:

My feelings on Lucas are well known. He isn't a terrible player but he really, if Liverpool feel they are still a top club, isn't at that level.
Poulsen's ok, I haven't really seen that much of him to say anything else. As for Mascherano, he's not bedded into Spain yet, the thing is he's too physical for that league, what wasn't a foul here in England is a foul in Spain see.

admittedly we did win the CL with those players, but those players were not performing well in the League where it mattered most. Benetiz admittedly did bring in howlers, but were almost straight away sold the following season. What happened in the board didn't exactly help either, they were taking too much of a risk with re-financing the club....where have we heard that before (bankers, huh?) and obviously you don't do that with football club unless you have ulterior motives
As to masch, torres and reina...three players, I don't like Gerrard anymore, you can't have a League winning side with just three World class players. Its even a proven fact that the reason why Benetiz held on to him for so long is because of his calibre. Otherwise he would of gone for Poulsen himself, he was cheap enough at that time
they finished 5th, that's ahead of where Mascherano, Torres and Reina finished last year 
I'd disagree btw, I think 3 world class players is enough to win the league. However, you have to surround them with 8 quality players too. For example, you could say Chelsea have 3 world class players in Drogba, Lampard and Terry. But players like Essien, Cole, Anelka, Cech and Malouda etc aren't far away from that ability. That's a key difference.
Conversely, you could also quite rightly say that Arsenal only have 1 world class player; but the quality of the other 9 (just 9, they don't have a goalkeeper worth talking about lol) means they will consistantly finish above Liverpool.

Sorry, but before I read this, did I not say exactly what they said? I said this at the point when Hodgson bought into Liverpool, don't you ever realise that, or have you forgotten already?
at the end of the day,the present state of liverpool fc means that they are merseysides 2nd club,a club in disarray who are staring relegation in the face if something doesn't change fast......they are now a team that other sides see a good bet for 3 points.....the mighty have fallen with a very loud crash and its possibly going to take a decade to rebuild it.
I have stated that all season, to get rid of a manager while they are on sale is like demoralising the team, and to put a lame average manager, whose journey list is longer than an average criminal proves that he cannot manage a team. Fulham last season were just lucky to get to the final, and it proved that it when they got beat in the finals. G&H gambled on something they shouldn't, it went wrong now that they are out I am glad, but am worried about the immediate future for LFC
i'm loving it:24:...at the end of the day no tears were shed for us when we were relegated and hugely in debt,the same goes for the likes of leicester,leeds and pompey
Effectively we're aren't in debt, he is paying of the debt at the moment
but then look which club is healthier at the moment,liverpool who dont really know whats going on from day to day,staring relegation in the face and in desperate need of a new stadium.... or coventry who,in the championship i know but are rebuilding gradually,currently 7th and no debt,playing in a new stadium
Once we get a new manager, though I can't see it at the moment because the new owners are not going to splash out due to the fact they have to think of what to do now
