kind of like capturing a genie in a bottle...Thanks guys.I'm a perfectionist, though, and lightning is tricky to photograph.
For me it's not so much an aperture issue as it is an eyesight issue. Even with my contacts in I have a hard time determining if my camera is in focus, especially at night. It will usually be off just a little and I won't be able to tell until I look at the picture on my computer. I leave my camera on auto focus most of the time but I can't do that at night.manual focus can be really hard at night - increase your aperture and you will have a much better chance of having a clear photo
it does decrease the amount of light you have in your photo, but you can find a balance between the two.
also if you need or wear glasses, manual focus may not be for you![]()
Oh, I see what you did there. Didn't like the hydro poles, eh?
am i only one who can see a great big sealion on top of the house
call the air force and kill it :willy_nilly:
yes if only it was in focus, then we could see the teethWow. Whoever took that picture has talent. Making sea lions out of lightning and everything. :cool
