Breaking Bad anyone??

I am hoping to find some others out there who have had the wonderful privilege of seeing Breaking Bad. I have just finished the second season and am currently starting season 3. If you have not seen this show, it is a MUST download.

It has been a long time since I have found a show not only worth watching, but that takes up the little time I do have. Great entertainment!

Breaking Bad anyone?

So, after over a year of waiting, Breaking Bad is BACK. After postponing season 4 over and over, it is finally airing this Sunday (the 17th). I don't know about anyone else, but to me, this show is AMAZING. I just finished re-watching the last season to refresh my memory...forgot how good it was!

Anyone else as stoked as me?

Hmm. Someone mentioned this at the breakfast table this morning and it reminded me of this.

They seem super stoked about it too. Perhaps I'll have to check it out. The way they described it things just keep going downhill for the main guy but it sounded quite an interesting premise.

I'd never watched it before, but my bf is a big fan so I have watched the first 2 episodes of the new season.

It's ok so far, its quite dark though. I can see myself getting more and more into it as I watch more

Let's put it this way...as you're gripping your pillow in shock of what you just saw, something else catastrophic is taking place. You cannot catch a break...brilliant show.

It's ok so far, its quite dark though. I can see myself getting more and more into it as I watch more

it is definitely dark...but the great thing about it is the simple fact that it makes the jokes/comedic relief, that much more funny

Thread resurrected! After 5 and 1/2 episodes (Season 1) I can no longer watch the tragedy of this character unfolding. It's good. I just can't take the subject matter.

I am sorry to hear this! I really wish you would re-consider. I do, however, understand how it would be...it's an incredibly realistic story with a lot of ridiculous, mind blowing, heartache.

Well, I watched the first episode. One tragic thing after another - it does make for absorbing viewing.

I did smile broadly though at one point when Walter has a moment of clarity regarding his priorities in life:

Well.. episodes 3 and 4 have been a bit... slow. I guess they all can't be brilliant but they were still ok as they nicely gave more to the story. Also, in other news, I guess

Anyways - watched 6 and 7 of Season 1.

Conclusion on this first season - very interesting and a different sort of tv. Needs to be balanced for me by watching something like Glee in between. Curiosity as to what other seasons may bring will cause me to no doubt to watch Season 2.

I didn't know if I would but the first season has convinced me. Some of the characters I want to see more of too - hopefully featuring more heavily in the storylines. :nod:
