Season 4, "Bug".
I didn't think Gus was the type to cave but it seems he has. Things are really hotting up now with all that went on in this episode

Salud - wow, just wow.
I was hoping the drink would be spiked - but then wondered if Gus had some masterplan considering he drank it too... This is one episode that seemed like a Season finale without being the finale. Wow, a takedown that took some cahoneys.

So, the finale is done and dusted. Now, even though Season 5 will be 16, I can't help feeling it could be a bit rushed given that storylines built up over two seasons helped make Season 4 so good.

It seemed to me like the storylines built up from the last 2 seasons
ended in Season 4. Am thinking what's left? The Cartels, Gus and even the Salamanca's are gone? So what would the be in for the next season? Season 4's excellent but seemingly the 2nd to the last episode seemed to have been the best cliffhanger when everyone was uncertain for their lives. But since all drug dealers/cartels are gone- what's the storyline gonna be for Season 5 ? The only hanging situation I see is who poisoned Brock and how come Walt has that lily of the valley plant in his backyard? Could Walt have totally manipulated the situation? But even if such is the case, it worked well for everyone as it placed a stop to the death threat on Hank's and Walt's life including Jesse's. So does this mean that they're starting another storyline for Season 5?
Did i miss something in Season 4?

Well, I think it was Walt. If he was evil enough to allow Jesse's landlady to die, he's evil enough to poision Brock.

As for what could be done...
Mike is still recuperating somewhere. They could do something with him.
.

Also,
The pollos hermanos chicken thing was a logo dangling from a car Walt was looking at. It was an interesting look on Walt's face, despite his claim that he had 'won'.

totally agree with you Siph...
Mike is still out there, and there is really no telling which way he is gonna go now. Of course, Gus was his friend, his mentor, but Jesse is also someone who he has taken under his wing. My opinion? I think Jesse may side with Mike and gang up against Walt once he finds out what happened to the boy.
What I don't understand is
what motive did Walt have to harm the boy? Was it to get Jesse to turn against Gus enough to kill him, or is Walt just sick now?
I wonder.

Regarding
Walt's possible motiving for poisoning Brock
, I agree that the most logical reason would be
to try to get Jesse on side to turn against Gus
. It may not be the right or only reason but it makes sense to me.

However, knowing how the folks who make the show like to make the most unlikely of things happen or be causes for things then
they may have focused in on the Lily of the Valley to try to make us think it was Walt
when the possibility might be that
someone else who knows Walter's back yard and knows about plants
may have
set up Walt
. That might fit in with
your idea about Mike teaming up with Jesse
- if it was indeed
Mike who knows about Lily of the Valley and we know he's been in Walt's backyard
.

Also, someone at work who has been avidly watching the show too reckons Walt
turned truly bad and mad at the point when he was searching for that money and then just lay on his back laughing crazily
. That could have been a reason for the
Lily of the valley
thing and also the reason he replied
to his wife with "I've won" rather than "we're ok now" or something along those lines
. Or it could just be because he's always been
selfish
.

I somewhat agree with you....however,
going back to what you said about Walt saying, "I won," almost seems like a direct correlation to the fact that he hoodwinked Jesse. Sure it would be more thought provoking to think it was Mike, however, I don't think Mike has it in him to hurt a child. Also, I think that Walt was so concerned that Jesse be on his side, that he did whatever he thought he had to...
Who knows...all I do know, is that I cannot wait until the next season :)

It's quite interesting that Mike (Jonathan Banks) played a role as an FBI officer in Dexter. Is he being recruited for that show??

Skyler(Anna Gunn) also is an Internal Affairs officer in Lie to Me.

Surprisingly I couldn't find a more current Breaking Bad thread. But for those of you who are fans, I just saw this alternate ending. :D

I never actually thought that I would like breaking bad. But when I actually gave it a go, I fell in love with it. I didn't fall in love with it straight away, because season one was one of the slowest first seasons of any show that I have ever watched, but when we got to season 2 and onward, things were amazing.

I absolutely adored it. Great acting from everyone. Personally, I thought Gus should have been the last season villain.. you can't beat his out, that was fantastic! Loved his character. But in all.. it ended just as it should. I loved and hated everyone! And does that Walt Jr EVER get enough breakfast??? ;)
