The Trials and Tribulations of One Freak of Nature

I'm feeling like a bit of an idiot right now. Because of my credit card issue I can't use my Paypal account until my new card comes. So there's a model horse on eBay that I've been keeping an eye on for quite some time. It's a Buy It Now listing and the only reason why I haven't bought it already is because I committed to not buying any model horses for Lent. So now that it's Easter I can buy models again. :D This particular listing had a few hours left so I sent the seller a message explaining that I really wanted the model but I couldn't pay for it until next week. I asked if she'd consider holding it for me until then. I've bought several models from her in the past so I figured she'd know that I'm not trying to rip her off or anything. The listing ended and she never replied to me. She has since re-listed it. So now I feel like an idiot because I could have just kept quiet and bought it next week when I get my Paypal back in order. :ninja

Crackle paint, need to use a base color... but you get the idea :D

I hope your credit card gets sorted soon... did they catch the person? Did they send anything stupidly to their residence for instance?

This all happened online. The CSR I talked to said they probably got my card number from iTunes. I think it was just downloadable stuff. A few $40 iTunes charges and a World of Warcraft charge. I know they weren't mine because I haven't spent anything on iTunes for a while and I've never played World of Warcraft. I doubt they'll ever catch whoever did it. At least I'm not being held responsible for the fraudulent charges.
