The Trials and Tribulations of One Freak of Nature

So, I got to work this evening and I had fed the first few paddocks when my boss texts me. She says, "Imprint is lying down. I hope she's OK." The expression on my face when I read it --> mellow.png Horses lie down all the time without something being wrong with them. It took all I had to resist being a smartass and texting back "I hope she's OK too." :ninja Instead I went down to the mare barn (which was on the opposite side of the property, go figure), checked on the mare and then let my boss know that she was fine. Then I walked back to where I had been feeding and continued on my merry way. :D

I was picking stalls this morning before I got off work. The stallion was laying down when I got to his stall so I got him up and proceeding to pick out his manure. I noticed he was just standing quietly in a corner instead of bothering me so I look over and there he is, having his "happy time". :ninja Geez. Couldn't even wait for me to leave. Went on to do the 2-year old colt's stall next to him and he was going at it too. :willy_nilly: So much for waiting until they're alone. :ninja
