:nod: Model horses make me chipper. It would make my life if someone bought me one for Christmas or birthdays. My sister always complains that I'm hard to shop for. You know what? I'm not. If it's a Breyer and an Arab, I want it. Simple as that. They're just not something typically found in stores around here.

Beautiful horses! I have a few horse items. My favorite is a brass one that I keep on top of the woodburner for decoration. That one can withstand the heat!

I had this tall horse statue.... the horse was standing.... stood about 18" tall. White with that multi-colored look at certain angles.... Wild mane flowing.... front hooves kicking.... Sat on my television for years. Then we were going to move and I was reaching to pack it up.... hit it and it fell. Hit the floor. Broke into a dozen pieces. I was devastated!

Hubby tried to glue it.... looked like crap no matter what he or I did. So..... bagged it up and put it in the trash.

Aw, that sucks. I haven't broken one of my models yet. My mom broke the wing off of my pegasus. I sent it back to the artist for repairs, though, so now it's as good as new again. I find it odd that I've never broken one. :unsure: Most of them are plastic so I guess that makes a difference.

WAIT!!!! I HAVE broken one. I knocked my porcelain Arab (I only have two porcelains) with a candle holder a few years ago and broke the tail off. I haven't been able to find a glue that will stick to porcelain.
