Actually, my dad did something like that one year when I was a kid. He bought himself a model John Deere tractor (he collects them), wrapped it up and put it under the tree. It was labelled to him from a special friend. He opened it up on Christmas and everything and the rest of us had no idea who this "special friend" could possibly be. Even my mom was stumped. Then he finally told us about his little joke. I might do that this year.

OMG! I can totally relate to buying myself 'presents' while Christmas shopping for others.
I do, however, draw the line to actually wrapping the stuff and addressing them to myself.
Explaining them.... well.... that's a whole nuther story.

OK, so my mom just called me. My phone rings and I see it's mom. I answer the phone and there's a pause...then she says "Oh, hello!" all surprised. I say, "Mom, why are you surprised. YOU called ME." LOL, it turns out she had been trying to call someone else and dialed my number instead. :24:
