He is a hot tempered bully. I hope he is out of the WC.
Then you'll want gerrard out of then because he goes into nightclubs and punches DJ's. You'll also want Terry out of the WC because he goes around shagging other players wives/girlfiends. You'll also want Ashley Cole out of the WC because he plays away. You'll also want....yeah you get the point.
since when has finishing 2nd in the premier league been a bad season?.....
It is for us. Not so much for the fans viewpoint but believe me the gutter press feel that way, and they are the ones who call the inquests when we have the temerity to lose one game.
you really should as TD stated try supporting a crystal palace or coventry city..things might be put into perspective for you then
But those clubs are nowhere near me. I was born in Manchester, hence I support Manchester United. And your clubs are in debt....so what? A lot of clubs are, mainly through financial mismanagement and that is their own fault.
i dont begrudge them one bit,as i said...they have abilty which has helped them win the trophy
Yeah...and I never said I begrudge them winning it, but it still hurts to see them winning it because it isn't your club. Trust me, unless your club is in the race for winning it etc, you should never want any other team to win it.
and to be honest i'd rather support my local side,we're solvent now and rebuilding in the right way....we're buying young hungry talented players who'll mature into a very good squad of players....they'll appreciate the club who gave them they're first break into really competitive football, not many will move on.....not that the same could be said about the foreign superstars the big clubs sign, the go to the highest bidder.....they have no love at all for the clubs they play for,its just a big pay cheque to them.....christiano ronaldo being a prime example
Yeah....but you say this like we haven't ever nutured youth. Here's a few names who have gone on to play for other clubs after starting out here and I'm sure, even though they didn't make the grade at Old Trafford, they'd be very grateful for their football education.
Danny Simpson, David Jones, Robbie Savage, David Healy, Luke Chadwick, Danny Higginbotham, Ryan Shawcross, Richard Eckersly, Adam Eckersly, Frazier Campbell, Keiran Richardson.
And of course there's the players that have made the grade and gone on to have very successful careers with us, and in Phil Neville's, Nicky Butt's and David Beckham's case, a successful one after leaving us too. The likes of the forementioned two, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Ryan Giggs, Jonny Evans (albeit still learning, but will make it). And that is just in the Premiership era, we had plenty of success in the earlier years too.
what you find with the supporters is the fans of the big sides are there for one reason only, and thats to say they support a team that wins things....
Again, completely untrue, I support Man United because I dared to be born in Manchester and had my family support them, sure there are glory hunters, but they are present at other clubs (Man City has some now)
