This would have been a good piece of info eh? However, it says 'not available in your area'![]()
For those who use Canon cameras, with the exception of Guyzerr (he uses either CS4 or 5 or even LR3)
DPP3.9.2 is the latest software to edit RAW files
Of course it's faster. The file size is considerably less in most cases. With that you also get a lesser quality shot. Don't believe me... test it for yourself. Set your camera up on a tripod and take a shot in jpg with lots of colour and detail. Then take the same exact shot in RAW. Tell me what you difference you see when you look at 'em on your calibrated monitor.I find this strange, pros shoot in jpg. Yet mere mortals like us shoot RAW :/
To be honest I have been shoot in .jpg for the last two days, and found that it is faster, yet not impossible with the exception of a few items like camera profile and others, to edit with RAW editors
I actually use Corel PSP X3 more than anything else. :thumbup
I've been using PSP since the dark ages and am so familiar with it. I suppose that's the main reason I still use it more than any other... which btw I have many of. I'm a sucker for new photo software. Some are hits and some are misses but at least I'm keeping the economy moving.Ever since JASC went Corel, I disliked it, that is why I opted for PSE first, then this year went to CS5 design suite (purely on the basis I could get it for less than the price of even photoshop itself :24: NB: I am still a student :24![]()

Heck, I just put my camera on automatic and let 'er rip. Sometimes I think photographers make photography way to complicated. :ninja
Automatic you say. I must see if my camera has that function.Heck, I just put my camera on automatic and let 'er rip. Sometimes I think photographers make photography way to complicated. :ninja
