i dont see the direct link between porn and strip clubs, sure there is a loose connection but i have been to business meetings held in strip clubs, it is quite normal to see guys with wives/girlsfriends there just chilling with a beer and friends - the modern day strip club is nowhere near as seedy or "private" as they once were

I have been to one with my wife. We were drunk before we got there, and it was with a group. I didnt tip much and she just sat there rolling her eyes at everybody but it was still fun.

I mean like, not all men are the same as in some just don't want to do it, some don't watch porn. If I were to be a practicing psychologist right now, with a client in front of me who was a male, do you think it would be right of me to stereotype him to the typical male stereotype and assume that he does all these things a 'typical man' would do? Stereotyping is just the mind's way of organising people, doesn't make it right. Just wanted to say. I think some guys would take offense to being stereotyped as this.

I didn't say all men watch it, I said all men look at some form of it.. I should of used the word fantasy I guess so it wasn't confusing. I also included women in the statement.

I would laugh if anyone did get offended. It isn't sterotyping, it is a fact, everyone does it just on different levels. Heck even animals do it.

You seem to have an image in your mind as to what a strip club is like and what "type" of person goes to them. But you are from a place where strip clubs can get down right nasty, at least from what your fellow countryman have said.
But there are all different types of clubs. We have gentlemen clubs here where the girls must wear evening gowns when they come out on stage. They cannot show nipple, ever. They can only strip down to bikinis. The bouncers wear tuxedos and if ANY contact is made between you and the girl, you are carried to the door.
So what "type" of guys goes to a place like this? And is he the same "type" that goes to the nasty all nude club were you can get a blow job from a skank in the backroom for $5?

There are some men's clubs in Birmingham and Mobile. Those would be the closest ones to where I live. I have spent time in Atlanta & New Orleans and the Florida panhandle but never frequented any clubs in those places either. Just never had enough interest to go.
