Just make sure it's ok with your woman first, if she doesn't want you to go and you do anyways then in a way that's cheating.

I think it depends on the person and intention. Like for me, bachelor party = fine. Birthday party = fine. Random night to see other girls strip = maybe not.

I realize this is a matter of opinion, but is visiting a strip club (without your significant other) considered cheating? Does it make a difference if they go without telling their partner what their plans are?

Looking is not cheating. Placing $ in a garter belt would be frowned upon. Getting a lap dance would be worthy of getting in trouble. Sex, obviously, deep shit. :)

men that think that it's cheating must be wearing dresses while their wives are wearing the pants. IMO. I just don't understand insecurity.

cheating is lying. But if I tell my husband I'm going to the mall and then I decided to go to the bar when he didn't want me to go in the first place, I didn't cheat on him, I lied to him.

True, but if you told him you were going to the mall and then went to a male strip club instead I think that would be a bit different.

also men shouldn't be watching porn...b/c not only in a way are they paying for it...whether it be from the internet, tv, magazines. They are still contributing in some way to the sex industry, looking at other women and probably jacking off in the long run.

why would it be different? would it be different if i went to a regular bar and a man decided to take his shirt off and i stared? or would that be the same?

It would be different because you're not paying the random guy at the regular bar to take his clothes off, your only purpose at the strip club is to see naked bodies that you find more attractive than your partner IMO.

In my opinion it is not cheating, its a bit of fun and as long as it doesn't happen every weekend where is the harm?

If he lied to me about going to one I wouldn't be happy though. But then thats a different issue, that'd be about the lie rather than the strip club.

And if I'm not tipping? I've seen male strippers before, and sure they have great bodies...but it's just not my type.

But since my husband knew that I went to a strip bar and I touched some guys chest, did I cheat? What if I was a married stripper...would that be cheating?

If your partner knows and is ok with it it's not cheating, if you're sneaking around and doing it behind their backs it is cheating IMO.

Well, last night, I was talking to my boyfriend online and he just disappeared without any explanation. This morning, he called to apologize and explain that his friends showed up wanting to go to the strip club and he forgot to let me know he was going. Apology accepted, and I seriously didn't think another thing about it. When I mentioned it to a girlfriend, though, she said I was nuts for letting him get away with that and that going to that kind of place is cheating and it's made worse that he didn't even tell me he was going.

Like I said, it didn't really phase me (except for being slightly pissed at him dropping the conversation without explaining why, but I got over it quick). I was just wondering what other people's thoughts are on it.

If it didn't bother you, then it isn't cheating. You define your rules of what is acceptable in your relationship and what isn't. Some couples don't mind their S.O.s going to strip clubs or bars, some do. It all depends on the rules you have set aside with your boyfriend.

I don't know what you're getting at...but yes he's a man, and he thinks of me along with other women...and do i care? no, because I know he loves me. Any man that say they only think of one woman and that's it, is obviously a liar

So, if you know your boyfriend loves you, why do you care if he watches porn or goes to a strip club?
